Michael Ranta，瑞典斯德哥尔摩大学艺术史副教授。主要研究领域包括美学、艺术史和认知心理学，写过关于符号学、美学、叙事学和艺术史问题的文章。目前在中国成都四川大学（新闻与文学学院）担任研究员/教师；此外，他还是瑞典林奈大学的研究员。他最近的一本专著名为《图片如何讲故事——图像叙事学论集》（剑桥学者出版社，2022年）。
Michael Ranta is Associate Professor in Art History from Stockholm University, Sweden. His principal research includes aesthetics, art history, and cognitive psychology, and he has written on semiotic, aesthetic, narratological, and art historical issues. He is currently employed as a researcher/teacher at Sichuan University, Chengdu, China (College of Journalism and Literature); further, he is a research fellow at Linnaeus University, Sweden. His most recent book is entitled "How Pictures Tell Stories - Essays on Pictorial Narrativity" (Cambridge Scholars Publ., 2022).
